We stayed here for a staycation night and had a great stay. It is located right across from Schoen Place, which has breweries, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We were able to check in before 3 pm, which allowed us to start our adventure early. The rooms are compact but well laid out. We were also offered bottles of water at check in, which we happily accepted. The chaise lounge in our room was actually very comfortable. Figuring out the lighting took a little time, but we did. We had a king bed that had some of the best pillows we've ever had at a hotel. Maybe a little too good! Water pressure in the shower was excellent, and I actually had to adjust the temperature down because I was shocked at how hot it got (which is a good thing!). The hotel is right next to a train track, but we only heard it in the morning. Our room had a mini fridge and a coffee machine. My husband also really enjoyed the fragrance of the Aveda toiletries provided. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future for another staycation!

Stellar hotel experience. Great rooms, staff, fitness center. The Spa is outstanding. Massages are exceptional and the spa amenities (sauna, relaxation, multi-jet showers, luxe bathrobes) before and after the treatments are world class.

This is a modern spa-inn. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the University of Rochester and in a quiet village next to the city. There is a short (600 foot) path to a nearby group of shops and restaurants. The room was large, with beautiful faux wood floors. The desk and chair was comfortable to work at for hours. The room chair was a very comfortable chaise. The bed was perfect. The bathroom was also upscale. AC and heat was responsive and there were plenty of 120 v and charging UCB outlets. The parking lot was full and the room was quiet!

Stayed here on 2 occasions this past week while traveling through on a road trip. We were pleasantly surprised by what we found! What makes this place so special is the fantastic front desk staff. Ruth is the front desk manager and has an amazing team who are always friendly and courteous. Thank You!!! The other plus is the location. This hotel is in the lovely village of Pittsford, NY close to many quaint shops and restaurants. It is also directly on the Erie Canal trail which provides excellent biking, walking, and boating. You are about a pleasant 15 minute drive to downtown Rochester…close to most major businesses, tourist spots, and shopping. Also plenty of free parking. The rooms are nothing special. However they have everything you need. Liked the Aveda bath products. Beds were very comfortable. Only wish they would provide bottled water in the room. Also was a bit wary of the faux fur throw on the lounge chair…not sure how often that gets cleaned. Otherwise, room was very comfortable and cleaner than most of the other hotels we stayed over the past few weeks. The hotel is adjacent to RR tracks and we could hear the train pass several times through the evening. We eventually got used to it…not overly noisy. Our first night there was a bit noisy as the guests in the next room were talking…seemed like they were right in our room! However, on our next stay our next room was very quiet. The Erie Grill in the lobby is open for breakfast and dinner and we ate there several times. The food was excellent! We did not use the spa but it appeared to be quite large and offered numerous spa offerings. $75.00 for a pedicure seemed a bit pricey tho. No pool, but they do have a large workout room with several machines. Overall, one of the better of the 6 hotels we have stayed in over the past 3 weeks…we will be back to bike the canal!!!

We are a family of four who booked months in advance a room at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, after 9 pm, we were notified that they overbooked and instead they are sending us to another hotel by Marriott (courtyard), 20 min drive from there. They assured us they reserved an appropriate room for us. Basically, as we came in late and booked one night only, they decided to sell our room to someone else, and “were kind enough “ to book for us a room that cost a third of what we paid for. Not offering any refund or compensation. When we arrived at the other hotel, with 2 children, they told us that they already told Del Monte, that they don’t have a suitable room for four and we ended up in a room with two folding beds. Sure enough, they have blamed Hotels.com and the courtyard for our inconvenience. Also after writing them and hotels.com they blamed each other and didn't care too much about their customers. As frequent travelers and Marriott Bonvoy members, that would be the last time we stay with any Marriott hotel.
